I’m the Housing Reporter for MLK50: Justice Through Journalism.

I write about housing and related issues like affordability, land use, environmental issues and food insecurity in Memphis, Tennessee. Before this job, I worked for three and a half years as a service desk reporter for the Kansas City Star.

My past work has appeared in the Washington Post, Popular Science, VICE News, Audubon Magazine and elsewhere. I also write short fiction.
