I’m the housing reporter for MLK50: Justice Through Journalism in Memphis, Tennessee.

I write about housing policy, evictions, homelessness, the cost of living and other topics impacting working-class people. I previously worked for three and a half years as a service desk reporter for the Kansas City Star.

My past journalism work has appeared in the Washington Post, Popular Science, VICE News, Audubon Magazine and elsewhere. I also write short fiction.
